HRH Consulting Ltd. Professional Practice Management Plan

In compliance with the Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act of Alberta and the Regulations under the Act, HRH Consulting Ltd. has prepared this Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) to satisfy the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) requirements for a permit holder under the Act.  The PPMP describes the operating plan of HRH Consulting Ltd. to provide petroleum engineering and financial accounting consulting services to the Oil and Gas Industry in Canada. The plan is evergreen and reviewed annually for suitability.

 

Engineering and Financial Accounting Consulting

HRH Consulting Ltd. offers petroleum engineering and financial accounting consulting services to the Oil and Gas Industry. Currently, the company consists of two senior professionals, an accountant and an engineer, providing consulting services in their respective fields of expertise to clients.  Both professionals are the mind and management of HRH Consulting Ltd. and adhere to either the Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act or Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Act of Alberta in their practice.  As required, they may draw on their professional network and associations in the completion of work under their oversight.

 

Ethical Standards

HRH Consulting Ltd. is committed to its PPMP, within its scope of practice, as outlined in both Acts and Regulations.  The company is also committed to conducting its practice in accordance with APEGA’s and CPA’s guidelines for ethical practice.  Ethical conduct will be observed in all professional work and public forums.  This policy also applies to any work carried out in jurisdictions outside of Alberta or Canada.  Additionally, local laws, standards, human rights codes, sensitivities, and practices will be followed.

 

Quality Control

Contracts and projects shall be confirmed in writing clearly indicating the scope of work and fee compensation at a minimum.  Minor projects may be confirmed by email outlining again scope of work and fees.  Progress reports and/or meetings shall be presented to and/or held with the client along with change orders as required.  Technical resources and reporting requirements and/or procedures will be detailed in the scope of work.  In most cases, an electronic copy of work conducted will be maintained for a minimum period of a year and be provided to the client if required.  The appropriately skilled professional will provide oversight and due diligence on work conducted.

HRH Consulting Ltd. is incorporated under the Business Corporations Act of the Province of Alberta.  The Company holds Permit #13271 to engage in the practice of engineering in Alberta.

As indicated above, HRH Consulting Ltd.’s professional resources consist of a professional engineer and a chartered accountant.  The Company engages resources on an as-needed basis, ensuring a focused, appropriately competent, professional group.  The company maintains a professional network as a technical resource to draw upon.
